I have played the heck out of this game. Seriously Sega, port over Sonic 3 & Knuckles already! TAKE MY MONEY!!!!

The game is great,and easy but getting the chaos Emerald and complete the "Prefect Ending" So hard to accomplish.

Seriously enjoyed the hell out of Sonic 1 I beat it 4 separate times once as each character plus sonic and tails together and I plan on doing the same with Sonic 2 but I havent played Sonic CD yet, I will soon but wheres Sonic 3? I wanna play that one as well

Awesome!! Just like it was back in the day on Sega. Plus theres the option to play as knuckles! Now all we need is sonic 3 and 3D blast.

This game is obsoletely astounding. I wasnt around when Sonic 2 first game out on the Shea Genesis,but this gives me the opportunity to play The game. The game runs smoothly,the graphics are nice and colorful,and you get to play as Knuckles the Echidna without having the Sonic three and Knuckles expansion that Ive heard about.My only problem is that Tails and Knuckles cant so super. Whats the point in collecting all the chaos emeralds when playing as them? Other than this minor thing that bugs m this game is well polished.

A great remake of a good and challenging game!However,you should add a split-screen multiplayer mode like in the original Sonic 2.

As good as the original game was,I cant seem to find anything wrong with it that hasnt Been fixed in this remake,and so,I can safely say that this version is a complete replacement for the original version

The stick is the biggest problem. Its so not responsive and doesnt resemble the Segas controller at all. This needs to be fixed, considering the fact that people are paying real money for this and it can be really really frustrating

Best game in the world

This is the best thing on my device, when I wrote a review for sonic 1, I said the was second best compared to this. Just like the original with some added improvements. This game is awesome.

Sonic 2 is considered by many to be the best Sonic game. Christian Whiteheads remake here is a thing of beauty! Having the same graphics, but making them more silky smooth (Play the Bonus Stages in the original or a port of the original then the ones in this remake and youll see what I mean!) as well as adding a plethora of new features! My favorite is the addition of my favorite lost Sonic Zone, Hidden Palace! Ive always wanted an official level of it, because it is gorgeous, and the one provided is everything I could have wanted in the stage! The controls are a bit off, (not enough to make the game less enjoyable, though) I suppose, though, I am playing on a Smart Phone, so it would be expected... I can only hope Whitehead gets to my favorite in the series, Sonic 3... Maybe someday...

I have had this for a while, and absolutely love it. The fact that after all this time they finished Hidden Palace Zone is really cool. I think that THIS IS THE VERSION OF SONIC 2 THE FANS HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR. Thank you, Sega.

Best game on the App Store, but if i had to choose the next retro Sonic game, it would be Sonic 3 and Knuckles. 10out of 10 IGN rating

This was a great classic game in the 90s. There is no bugs in the game that I found but here is one game that you should remake and that is Sonic 3 and Knuckles. Why? Because you have made Sonic 1,2 and Sonic CD and the only other game that you need to make is Sonic 3 and Knuckles . If you make this game happen,then I will 99.9% buy Sonic 3 and Knuckles and a lot of people will be happy.

I loved this game, I would have gave it 4 1/2 stars, because the controls, can get a little tricky to a lot of people. What I would love to see is a sonic and knuckles app!!!!

If youre reading this, then I just need to tell you, SEGA needs to make Sonic 3 (& Knuckles) Remastered if they havent already. Its Sonics 25th anniversary please tell me on July 22nd that this game is being made because as soon as it comes on screen I want to scream "SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!!!"
